We can take for granted that every embrace is an opportunity to absorb and relieve someone's pain, if only for a moment. Some people practice that same power just by standing in your presence or uttering a simple contemplative phrase or even sending a short message showing interest and concern. Reflecting His love at any given time, that's what I want. I can think of multiple times where someone was hurting, and my words could do little to help. But in a hug, I felt their hurt seeping out of them. Though it's probably silly, it feels like a super power. In which case, I am convinced we're all capable of being super heroes.
